I have always had a camera in my hand.... I grew up loving photography,  then like everyone, life happened, work, marriage, kids, mortgages, there was no time to be creative.  It wasn't until 10 years  my husband bought me my first new camera that I had owned in years.  It was digital, and how different it was to the old film camera's.  So.....I discovered the world of digital photography... How different things were, no more waiting to get film developed, instant images. 

I lived on a property and had kids, kangaroos and dogs so always something to photograph.  I then discovered light, early morning light and the evening golden hour... and the peacefulness that comes with being up early....

A sea change was becoming imminent, and 7 years ago we moved to the Far North Coast of NSW.   We live in a beautiful town, home to tourists most of the year and especially in school holidays, but we still have lots of space and empty beaches most of the time...  

Surf photography became my passion when both my sons began their surfing journey, I was always drawn to the ocean and discovered the changing landscape living in a Coastal town can offer.

I draw most of my inspiration from the beaches and oceans around me and wherever you look there is something to photograph.
